DSP1 Discipleship Project (3 semester hours)
The Discipleship Project (3 semester hours) is a foundational course project designed to establish the student as a disciple of Jesus Christ as described in John 8:28-32. The Discipleship project is completed over a minimum of two semesters during which time the student (disciple) meets regularly with an appointed discipler for discussion and evaluation of progress. During the project, the student is taught, established, and evaluated in the foundational elements of the Christian faith, Spiritual growth, and practical discipleship. Practical discipleship involves the establishment of the student in routine Bible study, prayer, journaling, Scripture memorization, and other applicable activities as needed. Upon completion of the project the student may be approved to serve as a discipler of other students, which enables him or her to earn additional credits if desired toward advanced course work.
